These pages are dedicated to my activities in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
For those who don't know what this page is about:
The SCA is the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., which was founded May 1st 1966. The SCA is a group dedicated to recreating selective parts of the middle ages. Jousting has been turned into a sport using real armor and rattan, rather than steel, weapons. All manner of arts and sciences are recreated, and attempts at medieval clothing are worn to 'events'. There is royalty, and there are knights (I am one) and countesses, and nobles of all sort, as well as commoners and craftsmen, A full description would take a lifetime. One of the interesting elements of the SCA is that members take on a new medieval persona; a different name and background. In the SCA I am Syr Andreas Hak, a Norseman gone viking to the British Isles, and eventually retiring to Danelaw.
